Many read between the lines to make their argument sound right. All for their own benefit.
The dedication to being better is broken
Men in power place themselves above all others
Their achievements and hard work are conflated above all others.
Think about the age of this speech and its relevance to what is happening in the US right now.
It is also to commentary on how those ideals started flawed and continue to be purposefully ignored or misinterpreted for the gain of wealthy.
The two biggest differences are frames 1 and 6. The 'web of lies' was turned into a tunnel and Men wen from overshadowing women and slaves to completely blocking them from view.
